We should hire Mark Bates as our next offensive coordinator. He used to be the head coach at my old high school and now he's the offensive coordinator at Oaks Christian. He made Jimmy Clausen look like an amazing qb, which now seems like something of a miracle.

Navy is not the second best rushing team in the country for no reason. You're NOT going to shut them down. They are going to make some plays. The defense has played very well so far. ND is actually leading the TOP race, right now, so you can't bitch about them leaving the defense on the field too long.

Another lame duck toss by Jimmy. Doesn't he feel the pressure??? Charlie shouldn't make predictions like, "There's no way we're throwing any interceptions today."

Jimmy Clausen is single handedly destroying the confidence of this entire Irish offense. Combine that with the Play calling and soon our D will lose faith also.

I think the problem with this offense is that it is a thinking offense vs a playing offense. Navy plays offense, ND relies on QB to think. That's why I said earlier in the week that they need to flair, hitch, slant, quick trap, etc... They need to play football and not think it. I think Haywood got treated wrong. Not his fault.

Wow, I take back everything I've ever said. Those "top" recruiting classes are doing SOOO well for us. Plus, I love the "schematic advantage" we get with a four time Super Bowl winning coordinator as our head coach. It's awesome. Plus, anytime Charlie makes a "guarantee", he delivers! No INT's, no mental errors...let's see...yep, we really accomplished that.

Charlie sucks. Fire him.

Who would have thought at the beginning of this season we would be thanking Walker for his offensive production. He is the only offense that we have had since the 3rd quarter of the Pitt game. I really have no idea what to think of this team after a half like that. I really don't want to be negative and jump on the fire Charlie bandwagon, but it is getting harder every week.

I drank the kool-aid for too long. I feel guilty, but I'm starting to feel the same way. I'm sick of the offense that seems to confuse the players and tip-toes around instead of just moving the damn ball.

Do you even follow ND? Haywood went Weis, and told him that he would be tied up all week with a funeral for a family member. THAT'S why Weis is calling the plays this week.

That's the excuse they gave. Do you even follow ND, or do you follow the propaganda? People been bitching about his playcalling for weeks now, but IT IS NOT HIS OFFENSE. This offense is all a product of CW's head. CW can't figure out how to stop "9 techniques" from making his OC, LC, QB, and OL look like fools.

On the plus side, our defense is playing well. You are only going to stop an offense so many times before they break through. Clausen's first INT was his fault. period. His fumble and the other INT at the end of the half was a result to poor protection. We need to run to set up the pass... but pass more. We had them on their toes at the end and i think if we keep up the no huddle spread, we should start to open this game up.
