which guys are eligible to play next season as 5th year seniors?

As of now? None of them. Check back in after graduation, to see which ones graduated in their alloted four years, and the picture will be clearer.

mccarthy is a huge asset, and he has really grown as a big playmaker throughout the season. losing bruton will hurt the d-backfield, but we have great young talent at the corners, and sergio will be back too...

Add Duncan and Herring to that list of seniors who have another year of eligiblity. Duncan is out for this year due to injury, and Herring missed all but the first 2 or 3 games of 2007 with injury.

Duncan will serve as good competition for Romine and Clelland at left tackle next year if he does come back.

Wonder if Danny will get the start next to Kyle next year? I saw Danny play a lot in highschool and he is VERY talented.

it would be great to have D-Walls back, especially if he is still working out and in top condition. maybe he can have a "Shonn Greene like comeback." For those of you who don't know Greene is the dark-horse heisman candidate, RB for Iowa, who left for a year and came back bigger, faster, stronger, and better. Google him and you will find a few cool articles about his Ali-like return to the ring... Anyway, even if we can't get D-Walls back, I like Mcneil and Blanton at the corners with Gary Gray at nickelback, then we would have McCarthy and Sergio at the safety positions. Sounds like a good d-backfield to me!
