One more quick note for the defense: The first man wraps up and the second man tries to strip. Am I the only one who has noticed that BC (and every other team we've played) gets about five extra yards after first contact as our defender tries to strip the ball and the back/reciever just keeps dragging him.

So.....we coulda punted putting them deep in their end, hold em and get the punt near midfield. Instead we go for it on 4th down, don't get it...hold them and they punt putting us deep in our end. Awesome! Way to give up field position.

At this point I have no confidence in Weis anymore. The players are young, but 2 years from now, will he have a disciplined, MOTIVATED, nasty team? It's a sloppy mess of piss-poor play calling, guys in the trenches who make the other team look like Gods everyweek, and turnovers, short punts, penalties, etc. I'm pretty sure my years of SNES and XBox football have trained me to call plays better than this garbage ND turns to again and again.
