I am sure it was an accidental oversight, but I have read on GoldHelmet that he has an offer. I don't mean to step on any toes; I just thought everyone needs to see this kid play.

You don't see a free safety who can hit like this everyday! He also looks to be very good in deep coverage with outstanding football instincts.

no problem, no toes were stepped on the making of this thread. i filled in your first post with a bit of info.

This kid does very well reading the oppositions offensive plays. He's always around the ball, and he does a great job in the area of run support. He also excels in the area of defending the pass, really just a great defensive player that plays til the whistle blows. Hope we can get him.

there's a name....with zeke on board though i dont think we have a shot here

I dont think competition at the Safety position would really be a factor here. Most recruits like the fact that they have other top notch players in their class and are competitive individuals to even make it to play college football. Also, Zeke is supposed to be a hybrid type S/LB like Harrison Smith is this year. Idk but im guessing he is being recruited as a pure safety in our 3/4 system if we are still recruiting him hard.

just picture it every time he makes a tackle Anthony Hopkins voice rings out through the stadium "agent starling with the tackle". i think if we can pitchthat to him theres no way he wont come to ND

Not true. He told me that the big reason why his former teammate, T.J. Bryant, chose USC was because they both looked at the depth chart, and thought that he would get some early playing time. I do have good news though. IMO, Starling will either choose ND, or Georgia. His main concern was academics, which basically throws Georgia out. We actually have a decent shot at him.

I heard UGA hands out prision menus to their recruits. Too bad Jim Harrick is not there anymore, you gave out great educations.

LOL. Georgia is still a big deal to Starling. His cousin (I have no idea what his name is) plays there. He went to the Georgia spring game and supposedly enjoyed it. Let's hope he likes his visit to ND (the Pitt game?) more.

that Pitt game is huge on many levels. we will have a few recruits there and it'll be important to give them a good show. also, mccoy is a tough RB and we've yet to demonstrate that we can shut down the run. hopefully the 2nd half of this season we get some results in that area of the defense.

Is it true that the student section is handing out leis during the Pitt game (Manti Te'o is making his official visit)?

yeah, we may be in good shape but i think its going to be the same shape we were in with carlton thomas last year..... made the final two, and he committed to Georgia. hope not, this kid has got skills.

i guess the kid just visited Stanford on the 9th, and from what i am hearing on some other blogs he is visiting us next week. hope we blow him away, but still feels like a longshot.
