Can you imagine the heat that will come down on Walker if we go to OT and lose this game???????

Big moment here for our young team. If they can come back and score it's going to be a big moment in the season.

If Stanford should tie this game it will be interesting to see how many ease up on the kicker post there will be.

Moot point as I expect the offense to come right back and answer.

obviouly we don't run well from tight sets but we can run the ball from three wide and spread sets...

also Jimmy does NOT help the running game his is timing on the handoffs... he takes WAY too long and does not even try to hide a thing.... he you aren't gonna fool em you'd better get the back a ball and give him a chance... watch how long it takes Jimmy to get the ball to the ball carrier

I was going to post that as well but I figured I would have been skewered... so thanks. On running plays he sticks the ball out the second it's snapped. The coaches might think about some misdirection or veer because it's very obvious where every running play is going.

I also mentioned in one my posts after the MSU game that I'm sick of the quick toss to the flanker(s). It worked well with Samardzija but that was 2006. It hasn't worked the last two years but we keep using it.

WHat a terrible decision by that punt returner.

Great job by the offense this week. Jimmy Clausen is not the same quarterback he was in weeks 1-3. Man he looks great: reading defenses, touch passes, rocket passes even stepped up and ran this week a couple of times.

Next week, if we get up big on NC, I would like to see the offense start and finish.

Damn it we can't even get one fucking inch when we need it.

I liked that little skirmish at the end of the game. Emotion is a damn good thing. This team is starting to come together nicely.

Game balls to Clausen and Kuntz. Very good day for the offense. Would have been great, except they got blanked in the 4th quarter, when they could have put the game away. The defense still needs work. Quite a bit of it, actually. The Offense spotted them a 21 point 4th quarter lead, and they damn near let them down. Overall, I would give the team as a whole a grade of B today.

I think the D is solid. Especially considering their youth. This is a damn good Stanford team that ND just beat. I am starting to think of BYU when I think of Stanford though.

And that is not a good thing.

I give this effort an A+, because not only did they beat a very good team, they beat the refs that came with them.

IMO we were classes there at the end, let them talk... we'll walk the walk, leave it at that, no need to stomp the yard and that BS... we are NOT Michigan St.

I liked it. No punches were thrown, just some chest thumping. These are mostly 18-20 year old kids. Typical of how they act when they are pumped up. And I haven't seen a pumped up ND team in awhile.
