accoridng to scout, shaquelle evans gave usc a soft verbal today.

pretty disappointing news. notre dame was the only school evans had visited and it looked like we could steal another cali recruit.

but you cant be too upset when usc gets a kid from california over you. must be nice to not have to leave your state to land the number one class ha.

it doesnt matter who wins the recruiting battle... nobody recruits like notre dame.

it was just once, first reported back on the 16th or 17th, then quickly qualified.

guys it's not over... A Benn was a 'silent verb' to us for three months and he ain't wearing the blue and gold now...... and let's see how Evans feels now that SC was upset, according to reports the kid slipped to SC after the tOSU game so obviously he moves with the mo. of the school

I've heard some great news with Shaq from some of the current commits..It is sounding like the Irish really blew him away...He loved it how much freshman Michael Floyd was getting in the mix..The students did a great job as well. USC did not want him 2 visit here; obviously. I think he is ours to lose now...fwiw
