I'll sum it up in one word. pitiful.
hey, we finally get a turnover! that only makes us -3. that's a positive....right?![]()
The ball never crossed the plain.Refs bailed us out. I think he crossed the plane and ground caused fumble.
As a San Diego fan, I am obviously rooting for my team; however, as a Catholic and long time Notre Dame follower, I can honestly say that this is not Irish football.
SDSU was dominated by a Cal Poly team featuring a roster of 5'6 - 5'8 players and a DL consisting of 220 lbs linemen. SDSU is using a makeshift offensive line, makeshift defensive line and a redshirt QB. I don't expect us to win more than 3 or 4 games this year.
Looks like a long year for both of us.
Trap game? We lost to the same Cal Poly school in 2 of the last 3 years. No less 6 of our games last year were over by halftime, and that was considered a better team that this one.Cal Poly was a trap game for SDSU...they had Irish on their minds since the spring. They don't care about beating a DIAA school. As their coach said this is a "map game" for them...with a win over ND they would gain recognition..ND has been their focus that's a guarantee!
