I think we look fine overall, just a few stupid kinks really have thrown us off. Robert Hughes thing was bullshit.

Once again, I really don't understand the playcall. The jumpball throw works when you are inside the ten...but I'm not sure that it works when you are on the 20+ yard line. Looked like a pick as soon as he released it.

I dont think turning around much would have helped much, that was a weird play probably should have waited about another half a second or so if you wanted to throw that route.

I haven't seen anything on this offense that we can look forward to, it will definately be a very long year. Jimmy is not what we are hoping for. He drops back with only one receiver in mind and will chuck it up no matter what.

I may be overreacting but Duval has done nothing other than that one nice fade. He has been blanketed all game by one corner. I think Floyd should get more time on the field.

answer a question for me guys....when did running the ball fall out of favor and going for the big hitter on the first play after a turnover become the play of choice? WTF? That's the kind of shit that Lou became known for in his dying days at ND. Didn't they dedicate a monument to him today? Maybe it was a shout out to him in his honor?

Yeah I would like to see a little more running. Maybe actually running to the right behind stewart and young, they are big guys use them. Some intermediate routes would be nice also, those actually worked decently at some points in the first half.

What ever happened to a little discipline? Jeez, jumping off sides on 4th and less than 5? That's coaching - not player's problems. Good coaching eliminates stupid penalties.

I'd love to see them stp giving away first downs. That's two because of Crum and one now from Herring. Those are seniors making DUMB mistakes. I don't understand why this happens each year. The youngsters are the ones exhibiting the leadership and not making the mistakes.
