ND retakes #1 2008 recruiting class spot

Rivals recalculated their recruiting class ranks and when Alabama lost 4 players from its 32 member class, ND leapfrogged them to retake the #1 rank it held through much of the recruiting season leading up to NSD 2008.

ND was the only team in the top 10 recruiting classes to lose no recruits. Only UCLA and Pitt are the other teams in the Rivals top 25 recruiting classes to lose no recruits.

While the value/meaning of recruiting class rank can be debated, it's nice to see ND in their rightful spot; 2008 was a monster class.

I like the ND makes sure their kids qualify first and are good kids before they even offer them.
