guys this is a basketball countdown, so there actually is a pretty good chance of ND being in the preseason top 10.

Ya, I'm expecting us to be preseason Top 10 and wouldn't be surprised to see us sneak in the Top 5.

I think it is a possibility they will be as high as 5 or 6, but im thinking around 10 is more likely. The good news is they will have a chance to prove themselves to doubters almost immediately by playing in a loaded Maui Invitational.

I will be honest, I dont like Brey. If he doesnt deliver an elite 8 ATLEAST this year he is on the hot seat.

Brey has won two national coach of the year awards I believe.

Brey has been the Big East Coach of the Year the past two years, not national. And I'm expecting atleast Elite 8 this year as well, but lets be honest with ourselves. Brey isn't going anywhere anytime too soon. And he does a pretty good job considering the low rated recruits he brings in. I don't know if it is because he is a bad recruiter or if it is because ND is too much of a football school/admissions to recruit well. Either way, he has done a good job with the low talent he has had.

Its not that Brey isnt a good coach, he cant coach in the tournament. Which to me, is all that matters

indeed man i need to come on here more often. Ive just started college and had a great summer so i havent had too much time for old IE but im tryna fit it in my schedule. You goin to any games? im tryna meet some IE guys

Not unless you can get me a ticket Rammer. I had sources I was getting season tickets from for at least one game per year. This year they fell through. How is the new chapter in life going for you?

Rivals is through number 8, Louisville, today. Still no ND. Also, Ryan Kelly, a 5 star power forward is expected to announce today. Rumors are it is down to ND and Duke, with Wake Forest 3rd.

He chose Duke. Wish we could get just 1 5 star player every few years. Oh well, Brey gets the most out of his guys, so I'm not going to complain.

it would have been great to get him, but the kid's top priorities were education and basketball, cant really blame him for choosing duke. good luck to him.
