Kraig, along with hundreds of other HS football players, has one of those "verbal" ND offers.

Even if he did, it is not an actionable offer and he most likely won't be getting one with the WR offers most likely set for 2009.

In a strange turn of events many of you probably don't care about, it appears the early call on Illionois by a newspaper was premature and... wrong. Appleton's latest is he will decide sometime in the future.

I believe Appleton is still undecided and I think one of the top 5 prospects in Illinois by many services.

I hate receruiting, LOL. The report of Appleton to Illinois was partially right. While Appleton says he is going to take all 5 officials, he is also very high on Illinois. He could be a dreaded "soft" verbal.

I think Illinois has some good one talent but they will not be as good this season as many of the preseason polls have them.

If Shaq is "committed" to USC, is Kraig ND's highest ranked WR they are coveting yet?
