Yes, he did. Gave standard interview answers when asked about the trip. Anybodies guess as to how genuine the interest at this point but I would personally be very surprised if we lose this kid.

I have learned not to trus WeisWeisBaby's "feelings" LOL!

I have a feeling we end strong in recruiting after the Irish show up STRONG on the field and show A LOT of promise for 2009 and 2010!!!!

Okay, first I said that we would get Zach Martin and nobody believed me... I also have been known to say we would get Joe Montana's kid before anyone knew about it, and I will state my reputation that we will get Lalota.

Well if we by any chance don't get Lalota's verbal commitment...based on your reputation I hope you don't hold a grudge for months up to signing day. O**R H****R (he who's name shall not be said)

FYI... I was the first one in 73 that said we would get this lanky teenager name Joe Montana and he would be the greatest QB of all time for us, just so you know

Way to go Marine! Most Penn St. fans don't know anything about their team, and they love that mascot of theirs, Joe Paterno. Thank God we're ND fans.

God bless the marines, especially when they are kicking butt in Iraq for America and kicking butt in Pennsylvania for the irish.

ESPN update has his list trimmed down to 7, with ND supposedly at the top followed by Florida.

I hope this kid follows Stockton to ND. But you know how much Meyer loves those Jersey boys that commit to ND...

Yea i live in lancaster and actually go to psu, but you're right everyone is psu here. It's alot different than ND. The night life is out of control and something is always happening. I was in the student section last year at the ND game and kids were chanting fuck the irish when they came out and took a knee in the endzone to pray. Kinda pathetic.

Ha yeah, just seen a special on the penn state football team on ESPN. It was hilarious, like 27 of their players were arrested in 6 years. And Joe Pa, God bless the old man, tried to play it off like it was no big deal. Kinda sad if you asked me. So if Lalota really wants to be a profession felon, Penn state would totally be the right choice. If he wants an degree from one of the most prestigous schools in the country, not to mention one hell of a football team, ND is the best choice hands down.

Can we keep discussion relevant to LaLota and his recruitment status with Notre Dame?
