WHo else watched every minute??? I was glued... My mom, wife and I watched... Mom took Grady cause he is a 'cutie'...
the wife took Berkman cause he was the only vet...
and I took Hamilton cause he is on my own words 'the closest thing we will ever see to a healthy Mickey Mantle in our Generation'

the wife and I bet certain 'favors' on our picks... we had a 12er of Dos Equis green bottle and WHAM!!!

That was some kind of entertainment!!!

I LOVED IT, I always like the derby but DAMN!! that was good shit... even though my guy lost in the finals... what a story...

I write screenplays and I told my fam afterward there are about two hundred screenwriters nation wide working hard on 'The Josh Hamilton Story" ending in the 2008 HR Derby right now... I do believe I am right on there... expect the movie in a few years....

anyone else watch???

And then ESPN did their Title Town segment on SportsCenter and she's a Gator alum. So her sitting next to Tebow ruined it....

I just seen that too...

But Josh Hamilton is starting to be one of my favorite players in the MLB. Just all the crap he got out of and he doesn't blame everybody else for it. He is taking this second chance and making the best out of it...

I Live in Cincinnati, and I went to a hand full of games last year and he always got huge ovations when he would come up to bat. He was always signing baseballs for kids during BP and was genuinely liked here. I know the Reds needed pitching this off season but this was the one guy I really regret the Reds trading. And Volquez might win the CY Young this year.

Reds would have been beasts this year...

You guys have tremendous upside IMO. Another starter and some bullpen help, watch out...

yeah if we figure out what to do with Dunn and JR, and these young guys keep getting better we could be really good. Few years away, but lots of potential. Sounds like another team I know...hhmmmm

What a great story and I hope he has a long career.
I think they need to do away with the finals and just have the player with the highest total win. Maybe they can do 5 outs in the first round and eliminate 4 players, then carry over the scores from round 1 and the last four have 10 outs in round 2. The highest total after round 2 wins.
