I know, I have played this game so much the past 8 years, it was always this and NHL... I guess I will buy it and play a season or two, but recruiting now takes forever and it really is ruining my dynasty experience

I buy NCAA every year. I am still playing 08 which is a shock as I usually get bored with it after the season.
Also, I understand everyone thinking they may be getting to old to play, but the way I am 32 and I use it as a release from life's various stresses. That and my father still plays so I feel obligated!

I don't have anything of substance, but I target a couple of players I need the most and then I let the computer do the rest of recruiting. At the very least, it cuts down on the amount of time I spend on recruiting and I still get top 15 classes (for the most part).

I am 27 and have a deposit on it, and don't feel like I am too old at all. I think recruiting is the best part of the game, well one of them, obviously I prefer playing games, but w/ the super stud recruits I get.

I also enjoy the recruiting part of the game. This is kinda sad, but I create some of the real recruits and try to recruit them in dynasty mode. But for all of you who are annoyed by the 08 version's extensive recruiting system, I watched a Youtube video that said they'd make it less complex for the 09 version.

Ya, I've heard the same thing about the recruiting, but I played the demo on PS3 and 360, and the actual gameplay is great. Also, I've seen nearly the entire roster for ND and it seems like we will be good, but not great in the game.

I never said there was an age limit to play, all I said was I don't play it nearly enough like I used to, at times I am feeling that at the age of 27 I can't committ to 14 seaons, 10 National Championships, and 11 Heismans anymore... if I pay 60 dollars, the most I get to play now is about 2 to 3 years

I will be picking this game up for the PS2 for sure. If anyone else plays online with the PS2 I'd love to play some people I know instead of just random people.

I thought they weren't making it for PS2?....thats why I bought a PS3 (Damn!). I agree, I don't play it as often as I use to, but when I do I find myself playing it on a Fri or Sat night until the early......early morning. One of those games that you have to buy, even if you play till the Jan when CFB is done, as I seem to every year.

no worries guys, I am 29 myself, and I am a Store Manager for a Consumer Electronics chain and 70% of the games we sell are to 35 or older. I have played the NCAA since my freshman yr in college, and love it. The recruiting takes way too long but hell, that game is sweet. Play on, games aren't just for the little ones.... they are a very popular form of multimedia now adays.

lol they are making it for the ps2. from what i've seen, each console has a different cover athlete. the ps3 version has matt ryan i think. are you gonna play it online for the ps3? if so, let me know and we'll play a couple games. i've been watching some videos of the game. i'm pretty pumped.

Here is where I saw the ratings too. Everything but the D-Line and the safeties and special teams. I also saw that we are an 81 overall with 82 Offense and 83 Special Teams.

Looks like Clausen (85 overall) and Crum (90 overall) are impact players, and I'm guessing that Bruton (88 overall) is the other.
