He attended a Texas camp last week where it was expected he would receive an offer from the LongHorns. Not only did he not receive an offer, Texas offered a different WR who did accept. This may have opened the door wider for ND.

Uzoma is supposed to be visiting ND next week.

yeah i sawit after i wrote it and was hoping nobody took it that way, i think he would be a great addition to our recieving corps. i have a gut feeling that after this year alot of wr are going to want to come into our system and play with two great quarterbacks and little montana in the wings. with our qb coach (cw) leading the way i really think we have an offense that is going to blow up within the next two years.

i hope so too. we have recieved commits from a range of positions. now we need some wr and some db's too. and some more lineman and well we need alot more guys to commit but i know it will take time and calm nerves.

Rumor has it that he will be visiting campus soon, Texas didn't offer him and this might have allowed the race to be in ND's favor... I will keep updating everyone when I find out more info from my source, stay in touch

Per Rivals, he plans on visiting 3 schools this summer and make his decisions. But I don't have access to premium content so I couldn't see which 3 they are. hopefully ND is in there.

If you go to A&M's aggie yell it has him listed as a commit at the bottom. I sure hope we are in good with some other wr. I thought he was one of our best chances.

Well we haven't been very successful with our first choices at WR, but we got three solid ones last year, and it's still early for this class. Remember we entered really late on Deion Walker last year and still landed him. So I haven't given up yet.

notre dame entered in at the perfect time last year with walker, florida state and southern cal both cooled on him and when nd goes head to head with penn st you have to like nd's chances

It's very interesting that we seem to be in these recruiting wars for so many guys with the same group of schools year after year. The ones in the midwest make sense, Michigan, Ohio St., Penn St. and even Illinois. But...then there are the other schools such as USC, UCLA, Florida, Texas A&M. Of couse, these schools are all located in recruitig hotbeds.
