no I don't, but I still don't think it is a series... Pitts had a 2-0 lead and caved, in my opinion they got very luck to score with 34 seconds (a lapse in a defensive effort for Det) and Detroit dominated 60-25 in shots, that is not really a series..that is one team hanging on for dear life

WWB give it up. We all know your a big Wings fan. We also know that they are the better team, just let us root for our team without getting trashed. That was a great game last night by both teams

ND=NC, I completely agree that Pitts has an awesome team this year, and I think they have a real legitimate chance at winning the cup.

That is why hockey is so dang hard because not necessarilly the best team wins the series, a team can hang on and win games unlike other sports.

As for the shots, I have to say that the Pittsburgh rush is truly amazing to watch how they enter the blue line and make crisp passes, and for the most part their scoring chances are really nice. Detroit had some ugly goals last night but that is what you expect when you throw the puck at a goalie 60 times in a game and just crash the net, I think tomorrow's game will be very interesting to say the least..

I may be a big Wings fan, but I am MIGHTY nervous these next 4 days until Nicky Lidstrom has the cup over his head, so I am not taking anything away from the Penguins.

haha, not sure what you are talking about irishmarine, i thougth for once the penguins played like a team that wasn't desperate (unlike games 1 and 2, youth definitely showed). Pitts looked determined, but not desperate.

no, I think last night they played like a team that had nothing to lose and was very controlled, when I think desperate I think a team that tries too hard but ends up falling short (i.e. Malkin).

Last night they were in control but did lose it in the third, DANG IT THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER SCORED WITH 30 SECONDS LEFT, I WANT TO BREAK SOMETHING!!!!

Not only that, but Trevor Robinson is starting at center tonight with Matlby and Draper, I am really excited.

As for my recent posts, yes I say it is not a series and then say Pens have a chance... the point I was getting at is that hockey is unlike any other sport, one team can dominate 6 games in a row and still lose 4 of the 6 games because of a hot goalie and some flukes, my point was Detroit has been dominating this series but I still am very worried that the Pens will pull it off, let's hope not

fair enough. i'll say this, detroit dominated games 1 and 2, there is no way around that. i thought the pens had the better of the play in game 3, i thought game 4 could do either way. as for game 5, i think the pens won the first period, 2nd was fairly even. 3rd was dominated by detroit as was the first OT, i thought the pens played better in the 2nd OT and detroit had the better of the play in the 3rd despite losing, so all in all it was fairly even. Honestly, as a fan who has been to many pens games and followed them all year, please do not just look at shot totals. the pens got outshot all year, thats just how they play. detroit has played better, no doubt, but i think its a series and if the pens win tonight anything can happen in game 7.
