if charlie gets to his dad (hopefully he does) i think that would be something no other university could hold a torch to. rock on charlie. he cant talk to kids but he'll fly across the world and into a combat zone to whisper in a parents ear. ya gotta love this guy hahahaha

Wow, that would be great if CW could talk to his dad, I just read the SBT this morning and it had a nice article on CW in Iraq. He recruits as hard as anybody in the country. CW is bringing in immense talent.

Yea Manti is the type of talent that CW would wait as long as he needed to...kid has some serious talent. It'd be great to see us get a kid from Hawaii...especially a 5 star LB who would require a lot of attention and game-planning against!

just to break into that usc dominated area would be great. and to get a 5* at that. ppssshhh and then develope him into a great linebacker

Yeah, Teo would probably be CW's most coveted defensive recruit in his tenure as head coach

Rueben Randle, WR, Has the size, the speed, the elusiveness and the character worthy of a ND player. Enough said!

Yea Randle looks like a big time stud but there is no way we get him...we I can't say that but he is 99 percent LSU bound..I still take Shaq Evans, he could be the perfect mix with his size to go along with our tall WRs in Floyd and Kamara...he and Walker in the slot in 4 WR sets would cause never ending headaches for opposing coaches....

You are absolutely correct irishmarine, but let us not forget what this thread is trying to do. This is a thread for your favorite uncommitted recruit; there is not a wrong answer or opinion. As an ex-lineman myself, I understand the importance of winning the battle in the trenches and I believe CW has done a good job of addressing the issues of talent up front. However, big time skill players who excel in a program tend to give that program a boost in recruiting across the board. The media attention given these players, whether deserved or not, is worth its weight in gold.

Agreed. Just look what JC's committment did to our recruiting class. Every top player wants to play with other top players especially from their same recruiting class. To get a flashy type guy like Evans, Randle, or Te'o would be huge because not only would we be landing a potential superstar, but we are also getting other top kids attention to jump on the bandwagon.

great point made by both of you. i am just a fan of a monster lineman. as much as we could use some positive publicity about our team (and i hope it does come in the form of a 5*) i would prefer a lineman. just my opinion. not right or wrong. but hell lets just get them all here so we can step on the trogans throats until they bleed from the eyes...

Hah. Good stuff. I feel the same way, I lived in SC country for almost 11 years and I could not stand those arrogant douche bags..Its funny cuz when were were dominating them in the 90's, the stadium was half empty and now all of a sudden ppl started claiming they were SC fans when they started winning...what a joke of a program...even if we do lose 9 games for 10 straight years, I will still be a die hard Irish fan and be proud of what ND represents...

I agree irishmarine that I hope we never lose 9 games, but I can guarantee that as long as there is breath in this body, this family will always love and be loyal to Notre Dame!

I was thinking of counting all you guys from Florida and Michigan with a 1/2 vote to keep up with current events, but I just could not get myself to do it! j/k

LOL, reps

I'm in California, so I cast votes for all of them, and my "undocumented" dog, who is already dead, casts votes for all of them too!

Wow, if we landed those top 3, it would almost certainly be another top 10 class! I'd be happy if we snagged one.

I would like to have a few of them, but my favorite out of the bunch is marlon brown, this kid is sick, check him out on you tube. Although it looks like Tennessee has the inside track I still keep the faith.
