Last player we signed from Alabama was... Justin Tuck?

Man, I could not be more opposite of that. I see an unathletic Tyler Buchner.Undersized but I love his film. Fastest release I've seen among ND commits recently, and owns the middle of the field. Pocket Awareness seems great and you can see he's going through progressions.
Seems to have the arm. Has good zip but through first 5 minutes throws a ball 45 yards in the air twice and one 50 yards. Would be very happy if he is the commit in 2028.
Hmm, he's definitely not as athletic as Buchner but as a passer he seems so much more advanced than me. His mechanics are simply better, the release is better (and lightning quick), and he's seeing the whole field.Man, I could not be more opposite of that. I see an unathletic Tyler Buchner.
I see two different sets of mechanics, both flawed because of the quick release. He's short arming the ball and keeping his elbow low as standard. For deep balls that means he has to lean back on his back leg to get air, but not power, so the ball tends to get hung up. Meanwhile, on the shorter stuff, he drives onto his front leg and sometimes goes over the top, but to the point of almost falling over, which does give a nice, quick ball in the medium length passes, but will cause the ball to be low and/or late on a lot of the shortest stuff.Hmm, he's definitely not as athletic as Buchner but as a passer he seems so much more advanced than me. Well Rudy he'd better be more advanced as a passer than YOU 😄😄 and Buchner looked very very good in HS before that "QB coach" toyed with his mechanics.Hmm, he's definitely not as athletic as Buchner but as a passer he seems so much more advanced than me.
