Too good to be true, and I'm sorry Acamp but the Penguins do not stand a chance.... Fleury is going to flop and fold, Malkin is going to need a lobotomy after a Kronwall neautral zone hit, and Sid the Kid is going to spend enitre games in the penalty box for diving (refs know that Lidstrom is unable to committ a penalty, shouldn't have dove Siddy boy!).


Osgood looks like he is 22 again, literally.

This will be a great series until about 5 minuts into Game 1, then it will be Detroit 4 and Penguins 0....haha, maybe McCarty will get another Hat Trick against the Pens like he did in 97 against the Flyers.

I personally would like to see the Red Wings sell out a single 2008 playoff game in "Hockey Town" before their "fans" start disrespecting... but that's just me

Well , for you information Acamp every game IS sold out, it is just that the scalpers outside don't sell all the tickets because people can't afford it. That is why you see empty seats.

Red Wings will DESTROY the penguins, it won't even be close. Melrose has already picked the Wings to win in 4, it's going to be BEAUTIFUL!

LOL... and so it is... the mighty melrose has spoken!! Although I saw it too and he said NOTHING of four games...

btw, Scott Burnside, who has more accurate with his picks this year than Melrose picked the Pens in seven... just sayin...

All I am sayin is when the "we can beat God" Red Wing fans talked and lost to Colorado in 96, swept by New Jersey in 95, Dallas in 99, Dallas again in 2000, The Kings the next year, Swept by the ducks 03, the Flames... and on and on...


in all honesty these teams stack up pretty well against each other... should be a good series...

There was a really good article about how both teams do matchup very well, but the main point that was illustrated was that these are TWO SUPERIOR teams in the league.... Pittsburgh took the "we suck" way of getting great draft picks and talent while Detroit has made the playoffs 17 years in a row and never had a pick in the top 15 of the draft and has done it, hmmm... very interesting
