hey all, i am in louisiana, and i am a huge notre dame fan, i got hit with hurricane katrina and been thru alot, i know this sounds like a scammer post but its not, lol i want to know where can i get tickets at a decent price, its my all time dream to see notre dame play and i want to go to the michigan game, but just for hotel and airfare its around 800 dollars per person, me and my gf will be doing, and the tickets i seen was around 300-400 dollars to, i cant afford those prices anyone know of any decent tickets that are real, thanks, and god bless

i am not asking for free tickets or anything because i dont like hand outs, but at least a website with some reasonable prices, i live in louisiana and hate lsu, i went to superdome and seen lsu verus notre dame play, and i was going wild even when notre dame was loosing and they ended up calling me rudy it was awesome, but its been dream to go to notre dame, i got pictures of home of the flood from hurricane katrina if no one believes, thanks for any help with links,

You could go to ESPN.com and order them through their ticketing supplier. Teams like NC or SDSU would be fairly cheap for the upper bowl.

Best shot at cheap tickets would be Craigslist or something.. Hell there were games I just rolled into town bought'em on the street. Granted you live a little ways away for that, but even still if you miss out hanging out locally is better than not at all.

Call the ticket office. Keep your eyes on eBay.

Also, you can always show up for a less exciting game and THERE WILL BE SCALPERS. They will most likely be cheaper than the websites.

Alums can always sell their tickets, but they must only be for face value.

thanks, with staying in hotel and high prices of flying i will be spending around 1500 just on that for me and my girlfriend, so i will check out the places yal said, just want to make sure its secured from wherever i get it from, and dont just scalpers, with living in new orleans, theres tons of fake tickets to games and igot burned once with going to saints game with that,

Some of the bed and breakfast joints that are around 20 miles out of South Bend have pretty reasonable rates on game weekends. For tickets you may want to check University of Notre Dame Directory - Welcome to Domer Connect seems to have a fair number of tickets at face value.

My best bet for big games has been on ebay, and I live in south bend. We'll for Duke last year we just walked up and got two tickets for 40 bucks. I got BC tickets on ebay for face. Best if you can wait till last minute bidding becuase the sellers are pretty desperate and you can really put the screws to them.

I have always just shown up and seen more than enough tickets. Two years ago for the UNC game people were not willing to pay half face value. I am a big scalping fan and do not like ebay but you have to be willing to gamble and take a chance.

I live about 10 minutes from the campus and know for a fact that you can get tickets the day of tha game off the 80/90 interstate off ramp for reasonable prices. I have bought some from there and there tickets are real. Living in SB there are always tix going around. As the game gets closer the guys out there are trying to make some money and will come down in price very fast.

First off, control yourself Junior.

Secondly, if you're not looking for a "hand out or discounts" as you say, why in the hell did you even bring up the whole Katrina thing in the first place. For pity or for discounted tickets? I'm pretty sure we could all tell from your handle that you're from La. unless you're ACamp and it takes him a few days to figure these things out...but every single one of your posts consists of you complaining about $1,500 for you and the girl to make it up to South Bend with hotel before tix even enter the equation. Why not just say, hey, I'm looking for some tickets for such and such a game...does anyone have any extras??? The way you're approaching this makes it look like you're grubbing for hand outs based on pity. Not to mention you haven't contributed a damn thing to this site but you're still throwing your sob story around hoping someone will take pity. Go troll somewhere else pal.

What does this have to do with Notre Dame tickets...I still don't feel bad for you. Track them down the same way we all do. Don't look for pity throwing your sob story around looking for handouts.
