Should be a barnburner. The Pens have never beaten the bullies in the playoffs, so I can only pray that continues. Hopefully it is better than either teams last series.

On a serious note, I have to ask- Is there someone at Versus who is a Canadiens fan? I was watching the game when they were playing in Philly and talking to my brother on the phone. He still lives up there and was watching the Philly broadcast. I noticed that twice when the Canadiens scored, a horn sounded. I asked my brother if the guy in Philly was somehow screwing up and sounding the horn when the Habs scored, but he said "No. Must only be piped in by Versus." So I'm watching the game last night and the Flyers score 3 times in 3 minutes and my brother asks, "When the Flyers scored, did they pipe in a horn?" And I realized that they did not. What is up with that? I thought Versus was supposed to be impartial? I smell a rat.

Redwings actually match up better against Pittsburgh, Detroit is a puck possession team and gritty and Kronwall would have an open ice hunting spree on Malkin and Crosby, it would be amazing.

Like I said before. Pitt doesnt stand a chance against my Wings. Nobody can score on us and we score at will. Wings in 5. I still think we could sweep if we wanted to. We have way too much talent for the penguins to handle.

Congrats to the Wings and their fans... they were the better team... I actually can't describe the feelings here... I'm a VERY soon to be wed man going on 30 and I'm about to cry b/c the hockey team I am devoted to since the age of ten just came two games short... it reminds me of the Irish three years ago when the bush push happened (I don't know how many of you really noticed but that ONE play kept us out of the title game that year) I thought "I'd rather have the Irish lose ten games then lose like this"... it IS easier to take when your team sucks but it was a good ride... fells like a part of you just dies in the end but... I guess that's why I love sports so much... well that's it for this year...

but I can relate... NBA puts me to sleep better than cough syrup ANY time highlights of some dunk that looks just like every other dunk ever made ten times a game are shown... I flip the channels... now all anyone wants to talk about on sports radio and ESPN is Celts/Fakers... I don't even bother tuning in right now

I agree totally ACamp, the Stanley Cup playoffs are the best when it comes to drama in sports. Games are normally close and contested till late in the contest. Congrats to the Pens on a great season and hope we meet up in the Finals again next year(Games 3 - 6 were awesome!).
