favorite place to visit on campus

For the last couple of years i have taken my wife to go and see a game at nd. We have really enjoyed each game and visit to campus for that matter. Each time we go we try to see more and more of the campus. This last time we went we saw the book store and the joyce center,we went to the trophy room it was awsome!! I was wondering if any of you have a favorite place on campus or in south bend that we can check out this year.

Honestly if you want to check out something cool that alot of people miss, check out Sorin College. It's the dorm right next to the Basillica. The Four Horsemen lived there and you can see their old room along with many other ND greats. There's plaques on the walls with the history of ND and its really interesting. Former president Monk Malloy also still lives in Sorin College.

As for why its called Sorin College and not Sorin Hall you'll have to check it out and find out the story.

Gotta be walking around the lake and when your across it you have a great picture of the Dome, the Basillica and a lot of the campus. good area for a family picture.

Anyone who was on campus for the B+G game see the mud volleyball?

the lake is awsome we park by the rv's every time we go and we skip the shuttles and walk up to campus we have a couple of pics of the dome

Grotto for sure is the best place on campus.

Ditto! The Grotto and inside the Basillica. Unbelieveable art work!!!

If you get there early enough you can walk with the players from the basillica to the stadium. Its kind of cool being right next to them.

The Grotto, inside the Basilica, the path around the lake and of course, the stadium itself. Basically, anywhere except the bookstore where you can run up a massive credit card bill in no time.

I agree with all that has been said so far. Also, Reckers is a great place for a meal. They have really good pizza.
