Marsh is only a SO didn't realize that
He's probably a longshot, but II did say last year that ND would be able to take some undergrad transfers who weren't true freshman from ACC and Big 10 schools (not just Northwestern). They got Hughes from USC last year, so hopefully they can add Marsh.

That was a lie the admissions office fed reporters. Last year they said “they were having discussions”. A couple weeks ago they said on the pod that nothing had really changed from last year.

There’s unspoken threat to reporters that if the admissions office gets bad coverage, your media access gets revoked.

That's horrible if that's the case. Stanford, which is a better school than ND academically, took 4 transfers this year who spent 2 years at other schools. Those schools were Colorado, UCF, Idaho, and Texas Tech. Those last 3 schools aren't exactly elite institutions, to put it lightly. The previous year, they took a kid from Northern Iowa who was 2 years out of High School. Again, not exactly an elite institution. If Stanford is able to take in multiple transfers who are 2 years out of HS, there is absolutely no excuse for ND to not be able to as well.

If he is working hard and getting high grades in his classes shouldn't ND give him an opportunity to keep moving up? This is very elitist if true.

Reporters know this but refuse to comment on it. You’d think Bevacqua would give them something in return……

Also, what I said isn’t confirmed inside info per se, but just an educated guess at the truth that is likely accurate.

I think I had a stroke reading this. I thought Laune could be Payne, but you mentioned Payne.
Yeah I just reread it. My fat fingers and aversion to proof reading has led to some pretty awful spaz takes. Stroke comment cracked me up.

On the II podcast they talked about Williams being 50-50 before the Cuse game but seem like he most likely stays now. Saying Wagner might get offered a good chunk of money to go play somewhere else. Singer mentions ND should have plenty of options at WR and he would bring in 2 every year to compete with the guys on the roster. Also DL will be important as well.

ND being OK with letting Wagner go because the staff believes they can slot Jagusah (before he gets hurt again running with the bulls in Pamplona), Lambert or Black in at RT since Knapp has LT locked down is going to absolutely break the brains of a lot of people on this site…

We probably need only one DLman if someone good is available:
DTs Hinish, Rubio (if), Hughes, Sev, Burgess, Mullins, Dixon, Young.
DEs: Traore, Burnham, Zinter, Thomas, (the freshmen)

If I was ND I would say "F" that. Focus on doing everything to keeping all the starting OL. We lost one game this season because the OL took too long to get going and one last year. I cannot recall the poor start to Freemans first year but I bet it was the same.

Josh Burnham and Junior both still have eligibility left.

Nevermind, Junior played every game his freshman year. Josh still has a year left though.
