good lord Washington has a great mix of physical play and flat out speed... they're gonna be good for a long time

hopefully the pens can get at least a point out of this one... but I must admit, washington is dominating everything but the score

Cripes.....Pens twice and Debbies once. The schedule maker Gods were not very kind to Flyers fans this year. Still, it's pretty cool that the last month is filled with division games where the shit really counts. That's restoring some good rivalry and genuine hate amongst the fans, hehe.

If we get 3 points out of the last 3 games, the worst we can do is tie with Washington (assuming they win their last 3). Washington gets to play scrubs in their shitty division for their final 3. Think Washington would get the spot on the wins tiebreaker. So realistically, we need 4 points in 3 games. Flyers need to take care of business and not worry about what Washington or Buffalo are doing. Win and yer in, end of story. Buffalo has a game in hand but I don't know if they can make up 5 points assuming they get 2 from their in-hand game (which looks like it's being played today vs Boston).

Really sets up what could be a whopper of a final game against Pitt next Sunday at home. And it's gotta be an afternoon game. Just great.

BTW - Don't get too cocky there Sonny Jim, the huns are moving up on ya with a game in hand. One slip and 1st place in the Patrick division :)D) is gonna be a down to the last game race.

yeah, they kicked the ass of a team that was on a steady decline from the all-star break to the end of the reg season. I don't think you're gonna roll through the blueshirts quite as easily. If you do, then I think The Cup is yours for the taking.....which would make me friggin' puke cause I can't stand Crosby the whiner.

Philly fans live in a world of their own. All of the stars do their share of whining to the officials. Briere is one of the biggest whiners out there. Shanahan is downright pathetic. Yet, everyone can only talk about Crosby because he is one of the most visible players in the league.

You are right. The NHL is becoming a world of flops and b1tching. Used to be good ol' rough and tumble hockey, but since they changed the rules to "put the emphasis on scoring", all they've done is created a limp-wristed product full of millionaire cry-babies.
