That is always a plus! That means IMO, that all ND has to do with this type of recruit is to give him no reason not to come. I mean, stay even with other programs (and I know there really is no advantage ND does not have over other programs) and he will be ND.

I have faith that the ND Staff will spend the time and work him the right way- let him look at the other schools and then he will be able to compare better the advantages of being Irish. You cannot fake integrity. He will work this out in his mind and then make the Irish decision (I hope!).

Yes- the season has to be the focal point that makes all of the other stuff secondary. We had it backwards last year. 08 will be the start and it should end in wild hysteria over the 09 and 10 seasons.

Eric Shrive has always been big.

At birth, he measured 24 inches and weighed close to 10 pounds. By fourth grade, he wrestled at the East Nationals in the 110-pound weight class.
