Not going to happen unless DA gets injured...if someone signs DA they have to give the Browns a 1st and 3rd round pick which is NOT going to happen!!!! I think Quinn gets a shot about week 3 or 4 when DA shows his true colors!!!

I agree with you Jeremy for the part about DA but I really think that Quinn will beat him out for the starting job in camp. JMO

Browns just signed Anderson....the Brownies are killing me this year. They traded there only 1st day pick and now they do not trade Anderson. Bad move in my opinion.

link: ESPN - Report: Anderson gets multiyear deal from Browns - NFL

Ditto... the top teams sell high and buy low.... Anderson will never be higher than he is right now and IMO he is way overvalued now... he should have been dished.. the fans love BQ it is not like they would have rioted

!@#^ *$&#)#@&$%

Ok now that I got that out of me, why would they not take a 1st and 3rd for him if some other team wants him. Could Savage want to trade him to that team to get players instead of draft picks. I am not too happy with this.

Does anyone know about the size of the contract

He'll probably suck it up this year and will waste a bunch of money and draft picks for the browns. Guess that will be there problem Come on down to Tennessee Quinn, Young is not the guy.

I found the answer to my own question and if anyone else wanted to know

From the Cleveland Plain Dealer/cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot:

Quarterback Derek Anderson has agreed to terms on a three-year contract worth a maximum of $26 million, but with no less than $24 million, a source said Friday morning. The actual guaranteed money is $13.5 million, but the "practical'' guarantee is $14.5 million, because Anderson will most likely receive the $1 million roster bonus due next year.

Trying to look at the positives- if BQ is all that, then alittle sideline learning can't help but prep him when he does get his shot during the season, as very few QBs now a days make it thru a complete season.

BQ will then shine. Better than being thrown to the wolves early. Just looking for something positive and anything to help improve his chances of success in the NFL.

What the F%#@? Savage said he would not offer him anymore then the 20 million, 10 million guarenteed just yesterday!!! This ticks me off!!! I am hoping this is a sign and trade!!!! At least the Browns picked up a DL already!!! Corey Williams from GB!!! Whooohoooooo!

I've been thinking about this all day and the only thing that makes this clear is that the Browns would sign and trade DA. Now that they do not have a 1st or a 2nd round pick this year maybe they have some type of trade package set up to get those two along with giving or getting other players.
