He’s getting the “name worth watching” treatment after recent visit from Singer on Twitter and Loy here:

He’s got a live arm but I can’t say from Louisiana and 5’10 height doesn’t immediately have some risk reward question to it

Last week Singer said him, the Mass qb and the Conn qb are the three most likely to get offers

He’s a sophomore in high school, right? So he’s 16? Sure, I would prefer he’s 6’2 right now. But seems a bit early to write the guy off based on his height when he’s 16. There’s at least a decent chance he grows a bit more, and he’s clearly a player regardless.

Drew Pyne says hold my beer.
Yes, let’s base all short QBs on Drew Pyne. The QB who threw for 2100 yards and 24 TDs as a senior in high school in Connecticut. That seems like a really good comparison to the mobile 16 year old Houston, who as a sophomore in Louisiana threw for 4500 yards and 38 TDs, and ran for 700 yards and 7 TDs.

Maybe he has a growth spurt over the Summer and starts his JR year at 6'1 or so..

Point is Pyne looked like a great prospect assuming he gained a few inches that never materialized. He wasn't comparing their skillsets.

I see you're new. Welcome aboard. You might try to get a feel for posters before getting upset. There's a lot of humor and sarcasm flowing through this site.
