This isn't a conspiracy and isn't political. News stations are profit driven businesses. It costs money to have a writing staff produce stories to fill all the hours needed per day. It's far cheaper for stations to instead pay companies that produce news stories for the right to air their reporting. There are a handful of these companies so many news stations are all buying the same stories.
