still sticking with my list. I think Michael and Walt got picked up by the freighter. I also don't think that Ben is one of the six even though we saw him. I think he has had the ability to leave the island all along. He is also probably the one coordinating the food drops. So, I think he leaves the island, somehow blackmails Sayid to go after the people who are behind the freighter people.

They said they will reveal another of the Oceanic 6 next week; we will see.

Both my wife and I rolled our eyes when at the end of the episode the one who pulls out Sayid's bullet turns out to be Ben. Not because we couldn't see it coming, or because it wasn't believable. But because the show went to such great lenghts when that scene started to mask Ben's voice. When Sayig first walks in, the voice is deep and definitely not Ben's normal voice and continues that way until just before the camera turns to show him.

That was so unbelivably cheesy and terribly uncreative that the only way they could to keep his identity hidden until the last minute was to have him use his "Daddy sings bass" voice. The all of a sudden his voice returns to normal when the camera turns to reveal him.

Other than that, episode was ok. I am scared to go over to the Lost board though, with this revelation that the island is somehow 30 minutes behind the rest of the world. The theories on time travel and worm holes blah blah blah are going to be nutty.

Ben was not on the plane, therefore he wouldn't count as an Oceanic6.

This definitely creates problems for two island inhabitants who want off: Desmond and Juliet.

Desmond could be rescued and the cover story could be that his boat wreckage was found along with the survivors. But there hasn't been any mention of the "Oceanic 6 and that boat guy" when Sayid or Hurley mentioned it.

Juliet presents a problem since she was not on the plane, as we know, but was also pointed out by Frank the pilot.

I only tuned into the last 10 minutes of the 8 o'clock rerun last night. But, saw that they put notes at the bottom of the screen connecting the dots to prior episodes. It might suck me into watching next week from 8-10.

Now that Kate and Sawyer are together again. I'm still thinking that Sawyer is one of the six, and he is the one that Kate has to go home to when she meets Jack at the airport in a flash forward.

The revelation of his secret room with money, passports and clothes shows he's not at all the person he claims to be (born on the island, never left, etc.)

The food drops have always interested me. The food is Dharma brand packaging. Now Ben and the "original inhabitants" killed off Dharma peeps at least 16 years ago. Yet Dharma continues to drop food? Certainly they would have found out that Ben staged a coup sooner than now.

My new theory is that Ben cut a deal with the Dharma people but that this boat is Dharma's (or whoever took over Dharma) attempt to take it back. They are now staging a coup against Ben. Ben found out about it from his "man on the boat."

Sayid is in position to leave but cuts a deal with Ben that the remaining survivors will not be harmed so long as Sayid works for Ben. Ben then makes a list of people responsible for trying to topple his island and setting him up, and these are the people on his list for Sayid to go kill. Dum dum dum

I thought so too, but Sawyer seems like a long shot now, given his confession last night that he has nothing back there for him. we will see.

Ben creeps me out, and the fact that he survives this is crazy. Imagine if someone would have killed him earlier, what would've happened?!

No one has mentioned that the objective is to kill Ben. I knew it was Ben as well, although a deeper voice, possible an upset scolding father tone.
As for the time shift.. Some guy has a theory, and he made in May of last year, that the series started and the plane crashed on 9/23/04, the series will end on 5/18/10. He goes into great depth in regard to how we are watching the island in real time, and that this rescue takes place sometime in the future. Basically it equates to 5months on the island translates into 5 years in real time.
Most people cannot grasp this whole time thing, it makes me wonder about the educational system in their respective countries.

i don't think anyone saw that coming. so the Oceanic six are Jack, kate, Hurley, Aaron, ? and ? (one of whom not named Jack or Kate dies in Jack's previous flashback)

Why didn't Jack want to see Aaron? it is his nephew. (he and Claire are half-siblings through jack's father).

Either Kate took him, or Claire gave him to her to take off the island, or Claire died?

So know we know a little about the cover story that the Oceanic 6 were forced to adopt. 8 survivors (two must have died), Kate saved everyone... blah blah blah.

I understand what you're saying about Aaron not being on the manifest, but he was on the plane, therefore could be a survivor of the flight. Last week after the episode, the preview announcer said they were revealing an additional member of the "Oceanic 6." Since Aaron was the only one on the island who was a new face in the flash-forward, I think it has to be him. There was no new faces revealed in the FF.
