Butch Davis is why one would play football at UNC. While it's obviously a basketball school, Davis churned out some great teams and NFL players while at Miami. Can't blame the kids too much for following that.

UNC has good academics, a beautiful campus and outstanding facilities thanks to the Mack Brown years. Davis could turn that into an ACC power.

It would not be hard since the "powers" FSU and Miami have been terrible in the last couple of years. How bad would the ACC be if they did not steal VT, BC, and Miami from the big east?
