Not bad at all, but id rather we'd offer a more high tear recruit. But looking at this kid's offer list(BSU is one of em) i would commit to ND instantly if offered.

I agree, it would be nice to go after a more highly touted DB, but he really is the mirror image of Prince. If he has the dedication he could be an overachiever. The kid is ripped so I'm sure he isn't opposed to working out alot.

I watched the a high school game a while back. It was Crist's team and someone else. I can't remember but Brown didn't really stand out much in that game.

I guess though with Crist and McDonald, it's not easy to stand out.

And you should resist the urge to contact these kids. Just because gallup21 does it, doesn't mean you should also. gallup21 is legitimately trying to write articles about recruits. He is surprisingly neutral, too.

On the other hand, if you contact these kids and say, "Come to Notre Dame!" then that would be a recruiting violation.

Over on the Scout site (Irish Eyes premium,) Thaddeus Brown is saying the transfer of prince may have opened up a scholly for him. Its premium, so I can't read it, but sounds like he will wait til NSD before he decides.

Brown up until now has listed BSU as the only school high in his interest level. He visited BSU and liked the Blue turf and the offense that Peterson runs. He is looked at as a RB by BSU.

He has family friend connections to Barry Gallup, and through him he has been able to make quite a few contacts within the team. Plus he has been working with Coach Weis on Hanna and Friends as well as recieving a press pass to the AAA Bowl. He was also given a press pass for the Blue/Gold game if I recall.

Thaddeus had some acedemic complications and wo'nt be able to retake the SAT until after Feb 6. The Irish were primed to offer him until this point sorry Thaddeus and good luck.

I read an article on rivals about this, and 2 things stuck out in my head.

1) They said there is only 1 SAT between now and the signing day and he will not be taking it. Why not just take it and home u do better, it will make all the difference in ure life, playing for ND vs some sh&%y D- program.

2) Why can't he jsut wait til after signing day and retake them in feb?
