i went to lunch today at this place called Whole Foods by my office in South Miami. just think of your local grocery store but on steriods (no pun intended since we are on the subject of baseball). anyways im walkling around trying to figure out what i want to eat and i see mike lowell by the soup section. im do a double take b/c it looks just like him but he looked really thin (it was him). i walk up to him and i introduce myself b/c we have some mutual friends here in miami and then i walk away. as im walking away A-rod is walking towards my direction. i was thinking "are you kidding me? this is my lucky day." i went up to him and introduced myself and shook his hand. not going to lie, nice guy. as i walked away he then noticed mike lowell and said hi to him. i thought they were there together but i guess not. after my co-workers and i got our food, we sat in the cafeteria part of this grocery store and we sat a few tables next to a-rod and his wife. no one really bothered him b/c i guess some people in miami didnt know who he was. if he was in new york im sure it would have been a different story. anyways, that was my exciting lunch today.
