I want Dick Cheney. He's the best thing to happen to VP's since Dana Carvey. I mean come on, how many other politicians shoot people while in office??

I assume you're asking about US politicians. I mean if we count Russia, China, N Korea... and well any of the dictatorships in the world, i think the list would be rather long.

Sorry I didn't qualify my remarks to include small African villages where they fight over bowls of rice. :p

ok, back on topic. I'll be curious to see who drops out after this primary. realistically, only 3-4 have a chance to get the nomination, but for some reason 10 always run, including people who can't even get their family to vote for them.

US Presidents are not elected, but rather selected. The president is just a puppet, the real people in power operate behind the scenes.

He's ^ right.

Stuart Mackenzie: Well, it's a well known fact, Sonny Jim, that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows.
Tony Giardino: So who's in this Pentavirate?
Stuart Mackenzie: The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee *beady* eyes, and that smug look on his face. "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!"

this one will have to do in a pinch:

As an Iowan I participated in the caucuses last night. Very interesting. I'm still really undecided though. I look at all of these candidates and think to myself, is this the best we can do? When the time times comes I'll go, hold my nose, and vote.

I miss Ronald Reagan. (But not as much as I miss my avatar.)

The best part of the night was watching the H. Clinton campaign try to spin their way out of an embarrassing 3rd place finish.

It will be interesting to see how the next few races play out. I don't think you will find a snowball effect for any candidate any time soon...this is a close race

Obama scares me. I think it's his election to lose at this point. Thank you Oprah. No, not really 'thank you,' so much as 'f@#& you.'

Yeah, I know Biden has no chance. Im conservative anyway i just thought he was the best out of the bunch IMO for the dems. I really dont mind any of the Rep candidates. I just dont like how Huckabee has been attacking Romney about his religion lately

Yes, Biden truly has NO chance. He withdrew yesterday.

Don't like the chances of the conservatives this time around. The one 'bankable' candidate (Giuliani) has a platform (9/11) that no one would support with a 10-foot pole right now. Whether or not you agree with how he led his city during that atrocity, the aftermath and current turmoil in Iraq is a negative for anyone affiliated with 9/11.

My interpretation is that the only way Republicans have a chance is if John Edwards can slide past Hilary and Barack doing their best Rocky-Apollo Creed impersonation.

My right-wing 2 cents.

IDK, there is too much anti hilary bias for a lot of people. Obama scares me though cuz he is appealing to most younger people(not me)

I always look for signs when I'm preparing to vote. The RIGHT choice to me always has a "R" next to their name. Its like a sign or something.
