There are plenty more. It's not like I have any real big time connections or anything. You just need to learn how to read recruiting info, as well as learn who you can trust and how to weed out the garbage and the mainstream "logic"/spew.

This is from a South Bend Tribune article on his commitment:

"He didn't want to commit and have to change his mind again. He's played the whole process pretty cool. He took his time and just waited for when it was right," Wortman told the World-Herald.

You know, his delayed commitment is probably very good for us. I say delayed not because he's late or that he should have commitmed earlier. By delayed I mean it seems like he was leaning to ND for some time, and us outside observers could not figure out why he didn't pull the trigger.

Well, I am gald he took his time and waited until he was 100% comfortable making his formal, public decision.

If he de-commited from NE, then commited to ND a month or two ago, but became unsure again and then commited elsehwere, I know even the most gracious of us may not have taken it very well. And we've all talked about how we don't want to be like other schools who trash recruits who chose other schools, or even choose ND then de-commit and go elsehwere.

Not to mention the ripple affect de-commitments can sometimes have on further recruiting.

So a solid commitment now is much better than a soft, or uncertain commitment months ago. I think he was very wise in waiting until he felt 100% ready. For his sake, and ours!

It's interesting that it was the Nebraska Rivals folks who got wind of the story first. Maybe the reason he was more comfortable talking to them was that they were homestate guys and not because that's where he wanted to go ...

There are so many posts on Trevor that I don't have the time to read them before making this post. What a great fortune it is to have Big Trev join the ND football frat. I lived in Nebraska and witnessed the love Nebraskans have for NU, the Music Man, Devaney and Osborne. I loved my stay there and loved the friendliness I felt in most places. But Trevor will not be the first great highschool football player to leave Nebraska. Gale Sayers played at Central in Omaha and left for Kansas.

Trevor has to know that ND has a good following in Omaha. I hope some of the domers dance down Dodge street from the Missouri River to Boys Town in celebration of his choice. There will be plenty Creightonians rooting for Trevor and ND during the fall.

Credit has to be given to Trevor's family for protecting him and allowing Trev to get this done on his time. My father would do the same for me. I'll do the same for my offspring. Way to go YOUNG PAUL BUNYON. You are going to love ND!

i live in nebraska and now go to college in kansas, but while callahan was the coach there, he did not do a good job at all of recruiting in state talents. last year we had the player of the year for the state of nebraska, and callahan never even talked to him once on the phone, but the day he got fired, tom osborne called my qb and now he's transferring to nebraska, so it shows that callahan was an idiot, cause every one of these kids loves nebraska and he just was too worried about the out of state talent. but this is a good pick up for nd. nice job cw
