43 yrs old today. And loving it.

Today is my 43rd birthday. For a black man who mother was a 15 when he was born I would say I beat the odds. I would like to say thanks mom for giving the work ethic that I have. Thanks for never givng up on us when I no it was rough. Thanks for introducing us to sports, even though you didn't know what was a touchdown was . You always tried to give us the best, even when the best we had was hope. Thanks mom for not making me a statistic like so many other black man my age has become.
