Fantastic. Line the long term potential.
And if his defensive instincts don't match his athleticism, he'd make a potential dangerous wr.
Now, can he start getting in Mylan Graham's ear get his stuff in order so he can follow suit and stay home?

Mylan never wanted ND. He wanted pro wr NFL path.

Not sure about this.

Tae had his whole junior year to get his academics in order. Hillman was offered well into his senior year, so he only really had 1 semester to get everything right.
To a certain extent I understand your point. My contention is that in this case, ND knew there was a kid that the football program coveted that didn’t quite have it all in order and they worked with the student athlete and his school to ensure things were taken care of if he wanted to be accepted. To me, that’s all we can ask.

Rooting for him every step of the way. Rare time i care more about him graduating then producing on the field

I get that, but I'd imagine ND was far more willing to work with a guy entering his junior year than somebody just about to enter his final semester of high school.

Keep in mind, I'm not defending ND's admin. I was first in line to condemn their idiotic decision to deny Hillman, while he was somehow able to get admitted to the likes of Michigan and Vanderbilt without much issue.

I don't think this is a situation where ND has "learned" anything, much less they have a kid who had a lot more time to do the work necessary to get admitted and did it.

Waiting for the day for one recruit to say “Committed to Notre Dame, University of”, just to make the grammar enthusiasts giggle with glee.

And the work has just begun. There is a lot of time for him between now and college. He’ll have to keep it up, so hopefully these habits take root and the support continues to help him develop academically. He’s proven he can do it, and every phase should only make him stronger. I commend the guy for being willing to take the harder path.

From what I understand, it was never a grades issue, but a class requirement issue. TIFWIW, but I don't think this kid had a low GPA that he needed to get up to get in to ND; he just needed to check the box (probably calculus?)

He did say for the next 3-4 years? Already planning on leaving early?
They don’t make a lot of 6’3+ athletes that move like he does. His camp thinks he could be something special. Can’t say I disagree. Now, I think it takes more than 3 years but that could be his goal. We should strive for what others think is unachievable.

Following up on my previous post about my connection (first cousin). He also has posted his first episode of his documentary he's making about for Northside High School.

Around 10 mins Tae is in.
My cousin has also worked with Ben Sko, Austin Mack, Mylan, Jaylon etc.

I think anyone in FW (or outside) will really enjoy this.

Everybody wants to go down the fancy football aisle for recruits, then when they announce and say something like this, everyone grabs their nuts and pauses
