Omar is a senior in high school. There is so much going on right now with just that. And his high school team has just completed winning the GA state championship. I am sure he has been totally consumed with that and his finals and is now ready to kick back and enjoy the holidays and all that Irish sports gear Santa is surely bringing him.

The "chatter" is from some random person with "he-said, she-said" crap. Nothing more, nothing less.

The rumors could be true. But they are just rumors at the moment.

So on Irish Illustrated, the people over there are having sh#$fits over a post some guy from NYGATOR. Apparently, this guys ip address was traced and he is in fact in the georgia area. Here's what he said.

This is from the Yahoos National Board from a Georgia Tech poster. I checked his IP, and he is definitely not a mole saying this, but the story is one of those that you want to kill yourself for letting yourself even buy into it. It is posts like these that make you love recruiting.

Ok, i went to the dentist today to the get the teeth cleaned and my dentists son just so happens to play for BUFORD....

He said, "Omar WILL decommit from ND and commit to UF." "Omar has wanted to play at Florida all the way through highschool." He does not like cold weather and the reason he commited to ND was that they swept him off his feet on his visit." "Omar has been waiting for UF attention for a long time now and will officially commit after the Jan. 11 official." Mark this down. ND was at BUFORD HIGH last week talking to Omar and UF's recruiter was there the same time "cornering Pridemore". He added, "as soon as ND left the school, UF's recruiter told Pridemore to tell Omar to call him." "omar did and is ready for UF". These are ALL TRUTH, coming from a fellow friend and player of Omar's and Pridemores.


On to pridemore...He was upset with the firing of Gailey and the release of Tenuta. So naturally he will look around and since Omar is UF bound....Pridemore wants to check it out for himself.

This is not a flame. Came straight from the mouth of my dentist (we were talking football and recruiting because his son is going to Wofford). He said he is friends with the head coach at Buford, a big booster to Buford, and Omar and Pridemore come over lots.

SOmeone want to comfort me and say it ain't so. Ususally i dont buy into these rumors but um, this one seems semi-logical.

The guy claiming to have a recruiting expert for a dentist is a mod on the Florida board??? Or the person who relayed that post is from the Florida board???

This shows why Rivals sucks. Even their mods post unsubstantiated rumors with absolutely no regard for whether it's true or not.

There has been no comfirmation. So in other words, this "mod" posted a RUMOR with no confirmation either way.

That's what I call professionalism.

No, They are going to be all over his ass. Could you imagine after just getting a visit from a school you already commited to, your friend comes up to you and says oh yeah by the way, give UF a call sometime???

I'd feel like they didn't really give a shit if I had to call them. UF knows that too. So therefore that would not be the way they would approach a recruit.

True, it sucks to have to be afraid of stuff like this happening. But there was a rumor that Omar was visiting USC earlier in the year... That rumor was started by and actual USC recruiting site... Yet didn't have any legs.

Also I have to say that rumors like this will be all over the place from now til signing day... So it's going to be very hectic.

I don't think it's true either. The post has no specific info... Everyone knows Omar was swept off his feet by ND on his visit because he said it in an article...

This is a very easy rumor to make up. As far as I know Omar has had an offer from Florida for a while. Why would all of a sudden he express interest in them??? There have been no changes at ND. There's been nothing to prompt him to decommit. He willingly takes pictures with families decked out in ND gear.

Something just doesn't add up. I think this is some random jerkoff that saw the rumors that Omar might be visiting Florida and ran with it.

You're right, it doesn't make sense. All we can do is show Omar our love, and hope CW and Company is on it. He'll be a star here, but just another big body at UF.

I don't like anybody who spurns ND....."But they are HS kids" well I graduated HS two years ago and I don't have to think back that far to remember that at that age I was already handling my own and I guess the older you get the more you look at HS Sr's as 10 year olds, but they're really not.
