After a late afternoon visit from Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis, The Golden Domers have landed yet another great recruit in Trevor Robinson. The huge 6"6' offensive lineman stated that he could not wait to get to South Bend and hoped to make an immediate impact on the Notre Dame football team. And so on.......

The kid is entitled to take as long as he wants to make his decision....
I get a kick out of rabid fans that fly off the handle when these high school kids don't make decisions fast enough to suit their needs.

I think some fans need to switch over to the NFL where everything is business and everything is about the money. Then when a player doesn't do what you want them to do, you can fly off the handle all you want.

This kid has a huge decision to make. I sure hope he isn't looking at internet message forums. If I was a potential recruit for a specific program and took a gander at a message forum for one of the schools I was thinking about, and saw some of this crap, I'd probably scratch them off my list.


My suggestion is to sit back, gobble down another couple bags of fritos, make a few more posts in the off topic forum and relax. His decision isn't going to come any faster because you want it to.

Umm. OK but, I was just saying that I get uneasy when he has had multiple times to commit and it just looks like he is waiting for Nebraska to get settled and then hop on board again. Idon't call that "flying off the handle" unless you are talking about someone elses post.

Hey guys,
I can't tell you where i've been, but this is what I got. He is silent right now and has been for a couple of weeks. Tom osborne and Bo Pelini tried to visit him as a last ditch effort, but he kindly declined. CW went to his house tonight to finish up somethings with the EE. I'm not sure when he will go public. This is straight from the eye of the storm.

I don't blame him at all for taking his time. Imagine yourself in his position. What if you were the recruit and had to choose between your childhood team that you've followed, loved, and been pressured to go to your whole life (substitute ND here of course) and a school that is most likely going to provide you with better opportunities? I know it would be real difficult for me to drop ND for another school! In fact I'd end up IRISH for sure! But I think TRob is a little smarter than me and will realize that it's about him and he should go where there is the best opportunity for him.


According to ND=NC he may have already proven that he is smarter than me!!! :0)
