Devoe has a brother that is in the Class of 2007, Devon Torrence. Both are said to be locks to Ohio State, so this one may be over before it really even started. Said to be a 5 star linebacking prospect.

Some posters on bucknuts (scout site) are saying it's because of grades. With the high standards they have at OSU it would make sense. They now have a thread over there that states he may be in some kind of legal trouble. Who knows, certainly not the posters on bucknuts.

It apparently has to do with some off-field issues. I can't find out what it is. All buckeye boards are having this non-discussion policy on this issue. If someone can shed light on this, it would be great.

Whats more, Tressel promised Devoe that he would be the only RB taken in the 2008 class. Now, another RB, Aundre Dean from Texas, who verballed to UCLA before their coach was fired, has been offered. This leads me to believe that Devoe's not coming to OSU.

I dare you to cite one instance where Zwick was "cocky as hell". He is a true buckeye. Even when TS won the starting job, and when the coaches offered to help him transfer, he stuck with the bucks. He is well mannered. I know because I've personally met him. This is just bs on your part.

Ant80, I wsn't taking a shot or anything at you. And like you did state those types of threads have been blocked on TOSU boards. I had heard the same thing. But if it's not true you can ruin a young mans chance at a scholie by preading crap like that. Any way thans for the edit on your post. For a bucknut you don't seem to be so bad.

I was in high school the same time he was and we played on opposing team's. The Massillon SD gave his dad a job so that he could tranfer away from Orrville.

After he committed to OSU he introduced himself to groups of people not as Justin Zwick, but as "The Next Starting Quarterback of Ohio State". Now I will admit that he only did it in my presence once at a local party with only people our age, but that's pretty cocky if you ask me.

If you met him later on in his OSU days and he didn't act arrogant or cocky then I'm glad he's matured.

What exactly is a true buckeye, btw?

--------Anybody would accually watched the press conference know that he didn't say he WAS going to win 4 Nat'l Championships but the goal was to. Which I thought was the goal every season?

The continuation on this thread is pointless. No offense ant80, but if the guy isn't going to OSU because of a discipline or academic reason, there is no way in hell he goes to ND. Neither is Zwick. Period, end of story, doesn't matter in terms of recruiting.
