Which bowl game do you think will surprise us and why?

I think most people believe that LSU will steamroll Ohio State. I think Tressel is a better coach than Miles. Buit that Miles has a lot more talent.

The more I think about it, the more I think that LSU will pull this one out at the end, but that it will be close.

Wiscy/Tennessee has the makings of a good game. I'm also really looking forward to USC and Illinois. I have a feeling Illinois is going to be a much tougher match-up than people are giving them credit for.

Hrmmm... I really think that UT is going to steamroll wisky, although I think that the fighting zookers may just do that, if not win outright. It all depends on whether the trojans go into it realizing they are facing a decent team.

I think the most surprising thing about the bowls will be how little I care about them this year. As for upsets.... I think the Buckeyes do it - the LSU rushing D used to be a monster and now it's a kitten - against a strong rush team like OSU. If it goes to overtime and LSU loses.... well I think they might burn everything down there that isn't waterlogged.

Personally, I'm thinking it's going to be a boring bowl season where all the favorites win the games they are supposed too. It just makes sense after the season of upsets to have the bowl season of epic boringness.

Well, I just want to see someone justify this teams ranking and bowl bid. Kansas scheduled a bunch of directional schools then got whacked in their one big game of the year. Missouri deserves the BCS bid over Kansas hands down.

Now, I admit that I haven't seen them play. But until you beat somebody good, people have every right to question you. They haven't earned the respect they have gotten and I am curious why he thinks his team is gonna have their way with my 2nd favorite team (I am a VT alum).

If it's just a gut feeling, I can respect that. But if he's got some solid info about the jayhawks, I'd like to hear it. I still consider them to be a basketball school.

I agree 100%. Hawaii will come to play and GA will take the day off. USC will murder Illinois. It will be real ugly. Expect Oklahoma to do some major damage too.

Outside of being disappointed in no ND bowl game, I see maybe 6-7 matchups that I'm looking forward to seeing. As long as the sportsbook is ready that is.....

Agreed on Hawai'i. My new adopted team has some juice flowin'. I definately think they come out on top of the Dawgs.

1. The Mad Hatter beats Cheaty McSweatervest in OT, but only by benefit of a horrendous call/non-call (in an absolute nightmare of a game where both teams look like poo.)

2. Hawaii slaughters UGA by 4 or 5 TDs.

3. OU rolls over WVU by 20 or so.

All SEC teams must lose. All. Every single one of them. I like the idea of Ohio State winning on a terrible call after a game of junior high calibre though.

Hawaii is my new team also. Go Colt. Be a rock star. UGA fans are insulted that they have to play them.

West Virginia broke my football heart the other night. That game was worse than watching the ND v Navy game. I want them to bounce back.

And I am still laughing at Purdue having to not only play a MAC team but have to go to Detroit in the winter to do it

I want WVU to lose by about 50. I do not like the fact that the Big Least schedules down out of conference. I can understand teams that play in power conferences wanting to add in a few easy wins. But when you play in the Big East, you should schedule up. Take a look at the ranked teams in the Big East and who they polayed OOC. It looks like a whose who list of patsies and creampuffs. I also think that Rich Rodriguez interviewed for the Alabama job last year solely to get a raise from WVU...not cool to me. And finally I didn't like the way the refs tried to hand deliver victory to WVU in the Pitt game the other night. Those phantom holding calls at 2 critical junctures in the game were atrocious. For all those reasons, I hope OK takes WVU behind the Woodshed.

I wouldn't mind seeing Hawaii win. I mean, this is anothger David vs Goliath game and I love to cheer for the underdog. That said, I think Hawaii is going to be overwhelmed by GA on both sides of the ball. I'd be suprised if they made a game of it.

Do I root for Sweatervest or LSU? I can't help but to root for LSU. I don't think Ohio State really deserves to be in the game so I can't root for them. OSU is another team that really scheduled down this year.

Of course I will be cheering for my alm mater to take it to Kansas. Once again, I see a team in Kansas that didn't really earn their bowl bid. I like the Hokies chances in this one. I don't expect a blowout but I also don't expect Kansas to ever be in a position to take the lead in the 4th quarter.
