College Football in 1st Grade Land

We made a bar graph at the beginning of the year to graph our favorite teams' touchdowns.

ND is smack between Florida and West Virginia so it hasn't looked too good all year.

Since the season is wrapping up, I had the kids go look at the graph and write down one piece of information the graph tells them or an opinion they have after looking at the graph.

Here are some of their responses

-My dad likes the Bulldawgs but I think chihuahuas are cuter

-Florida ROCKS! All-Barn STINKS!

-Georgia Tech needs a new mascot. bees can't play football

-If Alabama scored more touchdowns they would be better

-My teacher needs a backup team

No, you need to teach them to be Yes-men and Yes-women. kiss up to to the boss. last kid should fail. (don't worry, he has a career in stand-up)

i tutor a 4th grader who wheres a jimmy clausen jersey to school every other day

last year i had a kid who wore a Montana jersey. I let him be the line leader whenever he wore it and told the other kids too bad, guess you need to dress better

Yeah it would and so would CFB Hall of Famers, and ND's all time wins and win% would be higher than all of them too, just don't do it if there are any Meat-chicken fans in there. It be even funnier to use the grad rates of the football teams since you are a teacher.
