but can you take the hood out of your team?

Apparently USC fans or alumni are tired of travelling to the hood to see games.

USC in talks to move Trojans from Coliseum to Rose Bowl - NCAA Football - Yahoo! Sports

Nevermind that the USC campus is a stone's throw away from the colesium. They would rather travell across town where "a mugging" means tailgating with a tall mug of coffee and Bailey's Irish Cream.

Don't be surprised if they move the USC campus to Malibu sometime soon.

If you've been down near there (by total accident, I assure you), it's awful. It makes Pittsburgh look like the 'Nati.

Let me get tis right. We can scour the hood for player to make our team National Champions. But playing there is becoming a problem. It's not just USCUM with this attitude. It's all of Collegiate sports and pros.

I still have faith Charlie !!!

Let me clarify, I don't know if they're leaving the colesium because of complaints by alumni/fans to get out of the hood. That part was the joke. Although I really do believe UCLA fans would drink coffee and Bailey's and call it a mugging. The article says their contract is up and they are considering moving to the Rose Bowl.

But as Stoney said, yes, the school and the colesium are right in downtown LA, not the friendliest part of town.

Having two major schools share the same home field sure would throw a wrinkle in there for home field advantage when they play each other.
