I ment to start this list a while ago, but with more ND guys recently getting the invites it seemed like as good a time as any. Both games will take place on the afternoon of January 5th 2008, so it looks like you'll have to tape/Tivo one of them.

The newly sponsored Under Armour High School All-American Game will take place in Orlando at Disney World and it will air on ABC at 2:00pm EST, and will be airing the practices leading up to the game all week on ESPNU much like the NFL Network does with the CFB Sr. game. The for this game will be selected by ESPN's Scouts Inc.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl will take place at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio and it will air on on the same date, but it will start an hour earlier at 1:00pm EST. The game will be covered by Rivals, but Tom Lemming is always heavily involved as he is usually in the booth as well as mainly responsible for selecting the teams. I'll be updating this list as more players are added to their rosters.

It also appears that Rivals is still having their Offense-Defense All American Bowl. This year's version has even less big names in it than last year's because of the addition of the ESPN/ABC game. It will air live on Friday Jan. 4th from south Florida and it'll be on Fox College Sports (Direct TV ch. 669).

They're still inviting. Goodman, Gray, and the three Chicago boys all know that they've been selected, but they haven't had their official selection announcement yet so their not on the web site's roster yet. With the class ND is putting together I would fully expect there to be a few more added to the rosters as well.

I think the AA game should be renamed the JV Blue and Gold game.

I haven't been able to confirm an exact date for Floyd's official selection, but I've combed over quite a few old articles and I've seen several references to him possibly waiting to commit at the Army AA Bowl, which we all are glad he didn't do, but it would be hard for him to announce his commitment there is he wasn't going to be in the game in the first place.

I forgot about it, but I remember hearing that Brandon Newman will be in the AAA Bowl as well, but I think I'll refrain from adding him to the list untill I can pin it down for sure or not.

ESPN has set their final rosters for the Under Armour HS AA Game on ABC/ESPNU. But instead of doing a more tradional East vs. West matchup, or even North vs. South they picked who they wanted/who they could get and tried to evenly distribute the talent on both rosters. I know how stupid this is, but their team names will be Click Clack and Undeniable.

Thier web site is not updated yet with the full list of players, or their team, so I'll up date the first post when I have all the info.

Here's some more viewing information about it.

Player Arrival: Dec. 31, 2007

Practice: Jan. 1-4, 2008, airing live on ESPNU

Skills Challenge: Jan. 3 at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex (Orlando) with offensive and defensive skills and drills, airing Jan. 4 on ESPN2

Game Date/Time: Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. ET on ABC

CLICK CLACK and UNDENIABLE?!?!

Afraid so, but are you really suprised given who's broadcasting it, and who the sponsor is? It's gotten to the point where it seems like every segment on Sports Center has a different sponsor.

List updated to include Brandon Newman, and Ethan Johnson. Although I'm unaware if EJ will be playing or not given his injury.

As of right now only 6 of ND's 21 verbal commitments are not included in either game. They are Robert Blanton, Lane Clelland, Dan McCarthy, David Posluszny, Hafis Williams, and Joseph Fauria.

While I guess there's still time for them to make the rosters I'm a little suprised not to see either Robert Blanton or Dan McCarthy on either list. I'm also suprised to see no mention of Trevor Robinson either, although there are only 4 OL listed on the West's current roster for the Army AA Game.

It appears that Rivals is still having their Offense-Defense All American Bowl. This year's version has even less big names in it than last year's because of the addition of the ESPN/ABC game. It will air live on Friday Jan. 4th on Fox College Sports (Direct TV ch. 669).

As of right now there aren't any ND commitments or current recruits in the game, so I'm not adding it to the first post in the thread, but I will if they end up with one ore more in the game. This is the game that Golden Tate and Andrew Nuss played in last year

That number is now down to 5 since Blanton was invited to the AAA Bowl, but I wouldn't be suprised if this was it. Even if McCarthy was invited to one of the games, he still wouldn't be able to play because he's recovering from his slipped disc. I personally think it would be really nice to see some of the other guys added to the Rivals game if they're not invited to either of the bigger two, but who knows weather that'll happen or not.

Joe Fauria said he's trying to stay away from all-star games to concentrate on his team's deep playoff run.

EJ and JF sound very wise. No sense in risking re-injury and putting team goals over personal accolades is admirable.
