Mr. Robinson, I am sorry to hear about Callahan's firing. But at a time like this, the best thing to help you get over it is to give Notre Dame a verbal. I'll roll out the welcome mat.

Our O-Line couldn't play any worse. We need guys like Robinson to come in and get the job done. Go Irish!

Come on man ur from Pa like me n we play hard nose football, but your statement couldn't be any more ridiculous.

I want Trev as much as the next guy but keep in mind very few freshman can step in and play the o-line form the start. Trev is not going to fix the problems we have on the offense line instantly

Are you saying that our O-Line played well? I don't think Robinson comes in and starts as a Freshmen, but we are in need of top quality O-Linemen. How many sacks did we give up this season? Fifty something?

A lot of teams better than ND this year started (or played) true freshmen on the lines. Auburn started two. Joe Barksdale got a lot of PT against Ar-Kansas as Les Miles would say.

Yeah, but very few had three starters - not to mention every single backup - with little to no prior experience. No doubt there were major problems this year, but the extenuating circumstances definitely played a huge role.

Georgia has two true freshmen starting, maybe Page and Robinson could do the same for us. GO IRISH!!!!

He WON'T start as a Freshman and also I think he'll still wind up going to Nebraska. Once the hiring of a new hot shot coach over there is announced he'll have his ass kissed by the coaching staff and he'll reverbal there. No one but me can see this coming? If he hasn't verballed to us by now because he's waiting to see who Nebraska hires I say unless the new coach is a complete douche to him when they meet....he's going there.

Guys,
Face the facts on Robinson and Page. We are NOT getting either of these guys. Robinson was waiting for Callahan to get the can. Robinson wants to stay in the south. With this being said, CW needs to find a late bloomer like Dever last year. This will fill the need at OL. Also, do not be suprised if Fauria ends up a Tackle. With one more line commitment, we will have filled line needs.

Sorry my mistake. I meant that Page wants to stay in the south. Robinson will end up at Nebraska.

Look back a few pages. Yes I said pages, not robinsons.

I personally get the impression that he likes NU more than ND, or is at least more comfortable there. But he has also mentioned that one of his major CFB goals is to win a NC, so the longer Callahan sticks around the more coaching uncertainly there will be which great decreses the chance of a NC, as would a newer unproved HC if Callahan were to be replaced which is something that I think will happen. I think the worst thing for ND would be if NU fired Callahan and were able to replace him with a big name proven coach that will creat a big splash which would cause everyone to start thinking about a NC 3 or 4 years down the road. So basically I think the longer the NU coaching situation drags out the better it is for ND.

Things now appear to be looking very good for TR, and some reports have him comming to the upcomming football banquet.

It has been confirmed that Trevor will making yet another visit to ND for the upcomming football banquet. With this latest news I think the chance that he will verbal to the Irish on or shortly after his visit is very good.

It is fantastic news and the timing is great if he were to commit. I wouldn't be surprised (no factual basis here) to see two commits within the next month, and for Trev to be one of them.
