Called back because apperentlt Laws hit somebody, 15 yard penalty. then they reviewed the play to make sure the play was even legit with all the laterals. and then we ended up taking a knee.

What was the penalty by Law

Someone hit the QB as he let the ball go, but that was absolutely not a foul. He didn't hit him in the head and he hit him right as he let the ball go. That must not have been it, if there was one at all.

I'd like to go ahead an apologize if I come off overly pissed off today. I haven't really vented to anyone about this season because I haven't been on IE since springball so I might come off as a bit pissed.

But if that was the call wouldn't Standford get the ball back? It must have been during the return

If Laws hit someone when ND had the ball then it is a block and how is that wrong?

Right. But they didn't show the replay or explain that the foul was during the return, so I have no idea. They gave ND a play with no time on the clock. If the personal foul was away from the play, it doesn't seem like it should affect the result.

If there is a personal foul it doesn't matter where it happens it negates the play from where the foul occcurred.
