I've never been a big fan of hockey. I thought it was funny, though, when I went to Vancouver a few years ago and turned on ESPN whil waiting for my wife to get ready for dinner. 45 mins of the show devoted to hockey, 15 mins to other sports, compared to here in SoCal 55 minutes other sports and 5 mins hockey.

I do like saying "eh" and "hosehead" though. So maybe I should move to Yellowknife and drive the ice roads for a living, eh.

Lupul's six points, Umberger's hat trick power Flyers'rout of Penguins

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Joffrey Lupul's two quick goals got him on a fast track for the Philadelphia Flyers' first hat trick at home in two years. R.J. Umberger made the fans' wait much shorter for another one.

Lupul notched a hat trick and had six points and Umberger added three goals and five points to snap Philadelphia's five-game winless skid at home and lift the Flyers to an 8-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.

The Flyers improved to 3-0 this season against their Atlantic Division rival...

lol... I haven't been able to keep up... I currently know NOTHING about the standings but have heard Pitt isn't doing so well or so bad just kind of eh...

It's doesn't feel like hockey season right now that's for sure... but the COMPLETE lack of hcokey on T.V. in so cal doesn't help matters... it's getting worse every year now.
