Take out everyone and let some other guys play.
"Golden Tate played Chad Hall" on the scout team this week, and we are supposedly suffering because we can't simulate the frickin' Chair Force's abilities on the scout team (according to the crack commentary by NBC.) For some reason I'm not buying that one.

some of the blame has to go on the players also. I mean charlie is not the one that drops 3rd down passes. He is not the one that misses blocks, or fumbles balls. He is not the one that blows coverage or does not stay displined on defense. You can have all the right play calls, but if players do not execute ( like grimes 3rd drop that killed the drive, or carlsons fumble on the first play) you will not win games.
Now with all that said I think that there is still a lot of blame to be put on weis for his decision making and play calls, and preperation for games, but these games can not always be blamed on the coach, IMO the blame should go to everyone.

He has never headed a college program before.
Still don't quite think this is the players' faults.
Overhead replay shows no receivers open. CW's offensive system at fault. No "go to" plays. No timiing patterns.
CB's defense isn't all that bad, but linebackers still nowhere on run or pass. No way Laws, as good as he is, should have more tackles than LBs.

Jabbie is actually a decent receiveing RB on screens and stuff.
I"ve kept my mouth shut all season. Listened to alot of you come up with excuses for cw. I hope you illusionists finally can see thru the cw CRAP. It's beyond football, now. He is in WAAAAY over his head and he has turned the entire school into the laughing-stock of the country......FIRE HIM BEFORE THE 4TH QUARTER STARTS!!!!!!!

no why cant grimes catch a 7 yard in route on third down to keep the drive going when it was still a game? Still a nice catch though

Blocking can be coached and it looks like our team is lacking big time in that department. I am not going to say anything bad here, but for ND football sake things have got to change.
