Dare I say offensive genius? LOL kidding but that was a great playcall by Weis. Everytime we have borught Thomas in on the goalline we have ran it, and AF probably knew this. Charlie took advantage of it.

Chris Stewart may be the best O-Lineman we have. Dude is a manchild all 350 pounds of him. Also I hope we win, but Hall for AF can ball.

How does Zook create a winner at Illinois with no more talent than we have at ND, but Charlie looks like the second coming of Gerry Faust. Our D has shown some spunk. Our O is soooooooooooooo predictable and lacks on lick of creativity. The man on the sidelines is quickly losing the confidence of those in South Bend.

I don't think I can blame the coaching so far. What have you guys seen that makes you want to bring in someone else?
Have you actually watched any of the games to see the team that this coaching staff has put on the field? They are MUCH worse than the 1-8 record implies, and that in itself is mind-boggling.

I'm trying real hard to stay on Charlie's side... but the Zook point was excellent... how are other teams winning 5-7 games with less than our type of talent and we can't beat Navy and are losing to Air Force, being out played by both completely.
I was willing to give CW a pass for a five win season which I thought was the worst it could get at the start of the season... this is the worst D-1 team I can ever remember watching

First you gotta compare the expectations of the fans, media & administration when comparing Illinois f'ball vs. Irish f'ball.
Then remember what Zook's first two years looked like.
We all have short memories. Zook just happens to be improving whereas Weis has taken a step backwards. Hopefully, it's temporary.
