Thanks, I added it to the first post in his profile.

NC State has already offcially offered Xavier, but he also recently picked up verbal offers from Miami, North Carolina, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Tennessee and he said the official written offers should be comming in the mail soon.

We need to put C. Brown on this guy NOW. It will be very difficult to get him out of the SEC or ACC conferences....but it can be done as we all know. Go C. Brown, GO!

I haven't heard anything yet. If he got one, chances are there will be story about it sometime this week. With as busy as these guys are during the playoffs they don't often have time to do interviews right away after new news comes out.

I'm now hearing that he did pick up an official offer, but as always I'd like to be able to confirm it through mutiple sources before I add him to our list.

K, we have our two sources. Both BGI, and Rivals are reporting that he picked up an official offer.

Xavier recently said that Coach Brown keeps in contact with him every single day by either calling or texting his coach. One example that he gave was that CB will tell him that Florida may want Xavier, but ND needs him. He also said it's kind of overwhelming to know a team wants you that bad.

Go get him CB!

I'm on the hunt. Weis has said that he's the #1 target on the board. We need some stud hoss O Linemen in this class. Starting off with Nixon I will do cartwheels all night long. We NEED HIM!!

That's not possible because he can't publically comment on unsigned recruits.

I finally got to sit down and really look at Xavier's highlight film and he is a very impressive OT. The truly amazing thing about this young man is his ability to get to the second level and delivering a punishing block on LBs. His footwork is outstanding and he is not afraid to be physical with Defensive lineman. He should be very high on our list of "players to get"!

Recruiting: All eyes (and ears) are upon Britt lineman Nixon

Even though Nixon hasn’t completed his junior year, the 6-foot-6, 275-pounder already owns more than 30 scholarship offers from major-college programs, including Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

...

Alabama’s Nick Saban, Charlie Weis from Notre Dame, Clemson’s Tommy Bowden, Tennessee’s Phil Fulmer, Mark Richt from Georgia, Tom O’Brien of N.C. State and North Carolina’s Butch Davis are just a few of the head coaches who have dropped by.

Nixon is a very good OL prospect. We need to land both him and Shrive (who I think is the best OL in the class).

This kid is our #1 target, no doubt he said thats what CW told him when he offered. He is a must get. We need a dominate LT. I may be getting ahead of myself but I think he has the tools to be a starter from day 1. His footwork is amazing.

i agree he is very good but sam young will probably start over him at Lt. Apparently he has put on 30 or so pounds of muscle. but this could could start at Rt as a freshman and then who knows what

If I'm not mistaken, Young is flipping back to the right side. Confirmation, anyone?

I'm pretty sure Young went from left tackle to right because of a wrist injury. He's 100% and will be going back to left tackle. Correct me if I'm wrong. Go Irish!

i thought he was staying at rt because he is a better run blocker than pass blocker and can be a real road grater for out backs. the whole right side of the loine looks to be big and strong
