Which recruit would you wish ND would land?

And why? For me, its tough to only name one. We have a great class coming in but there are no guarentees. I think we are set at LB for this class...never thought I'd say that!! Thank you CB! The one player that sticks out to me is Will Hill. I know he committed to Florida, but this kid is going to be something special. He is the defenition of a gamebreaker. He reminds me a lot of Devin Hester. He really doesn't have a set position but he can excel in a couple if you keep him there. If it was up to me, I'd put him at safety. He could be dynamic there. I believe in putting your best all around athletes at the safety position because they are the last line of defense and save a lot of big plays when the corners get beat. Also, having him return kicks/punts for 3 or 4 years will also give us great field position and all of those hidden yards that nobody sees in the box score.

#2 would be Trevor Robinson. He would be a huge get, especially with all of our problems on the OL. I think he is ready to contribute early. He seems to have that nasty part to his game and attacks opposing defenses. I mean the kid is 6'6 305, he is physically ready. He would be a huge boost to our depth at o-line and challenge for immediate playing time.

Agreed as always Stony. I would love to get Walker or Gerell to fill out this WR class. Gerell would also be a threat with kick and punt return in which we will need with Zibby leaving after this year.

My hope is that Charlie will use the remaining schollies for 2 offensive linemen, 1 defensive tackle and 1 more wide receiver. Getting 4 or 5 star players in these positions should make us the #1 recruiting class in the country.

Arthur Brown won't go to ND, but after seeing him ranked so highly at a position (LB) that is so necessary in the 3-4 id hope for him. Will Hill type of guy would be great, but then again hes at UF.

since i live in nj i have had the opportunity to see will "the thrill" play. He really is unbelievable. He can play any postition on the field and is leaps and bounds better than everyone else. He would be the guy i want particularly because of his versatility. ESPN has julio jones as the number 1 recruit but will hill truely is number 1 to me

I agree 100%. We pretty much got everyone we wanted sans Will Hill, Arthur Brown, and Trevor Robinson if he chooses Nebraska. If I had to pick a guy on offense and a guy on defense out of all the guys we offered it would be:

Michael Floyd- I think in the end he will be the best WR in this class. There are a lot of guys that are talented but he just looks different than anyone I have seen at WR when he runs and catches the ball.


Omar Hunter- Best NT in the class bar none and probably the best DT in the class. There is a reason the staff like him more than Forston. He will change our entire defense and allow for the incredibly talented LB's coming in to wreak havoc.

Agreed guys, Hunter was a HUGE get. I hate to jinx him or anything, but when looking at his tape, I see a bigger version of Warren Sapp. I know he's only in HS but man, I think he is going to be somebody really special.
